Scots pine. Native. Evergreen tree with blue/green needles; pine cones follow spring flowers. Full height +25m. Ideal for coastal locations; well-drained soil, full sun, sheltered or exposed. Seeds within the pine cones are a particular favourite food of the red squirrel.
