Shuttlecock fern, Ostrich fern. Deciduous, lance-shaped, erect fronds, new growth bright, almost lime green. Compact spore-bearing stems arise in summer. Moist but well-drained soil, full or partial shade, sheltered location. Suitable for very wet or pond-side planting.
