Additional Information:
Camellia  japonica Dainty (California). Evergreen shrub, with polished green leaves. Large white flowers, with red stripes and frills in late winter and early spring. Prefers slightly acidic soil, partial shade, moist but well drained soil in sheltered locations. Water well in a dry summer as flower buds formed then for following year.
